What U Race It Delivers at Your Trade Show Stall
A genuine foot traffic magnet
A racing simulator does something a static display can't - it creates a visible queue. When people see others having a great time at your stall, they come over. That queue signals to everyone walking past that something worth stopping for is happening at your stand.
Fully branded to your company
Our simulator rigs can be customised with your logo and brand colours. Every lap driven, every photo taken, every leaderboard screenshot shared is your brand front and centre. It's immersive, professional, and completely on-brand.
Lead capture
Use our leaderboard to run a competition - fastest lap wins a prize. Perhaps you require entry registration via QR code to race. Walk away from the show with a list of engaged, qualified contacts rather than a bowl of business cards from people who just wanted a free pen.
Professional on-site operator
Our team can manage the simulator on the day so yours can focus on having real conversations. We handle setup, operation, and pack-down - you just show up and talk to the crowd we help you build.
Fits standard trade show stall sizes
Our simulators are designed for event environments. We've set up in 3x3 shell schemes, 6x3 inline stands, and large island booths. Planning to fit a lot in? We can provide our simulator dimensions to assist your layout planning. Check our Instagram to see how our simulators fit events of all sizes!
Where We Operate
U Race It is based in Melbourne and services trade shows and exhibitions Australia-wide. We regularly set up for exhibitors at major venues including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), Sydney‘s ICC and convention centres, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Adelaide Convention Centre, as well as other expo venues, showgrounds, and event spaces. If you have a trade show coming up, get in touch and we’ll sort the logistics.
Why a Racing Simulator Beats Other Trade Show Entertainment
Unlike a photo booth or a caricaturist, a racing simulator creates sustained engagement. Guests don’t snap a photo and walk off – they race, check the leaderboard, bring a colleague back for a rematch, and talk about your stall for the rest of the day. The dwell time at a simulator stand is significantly higher than passive entertainment options, which means more time for your team to have meaningful conversations.
It’s also inherently competitive – and competition creates energy, noise, and a crowd. That energy is visible from across the exhibition floor.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much space does a racing simulator need at a trade show?
Our standard setup requires can fit into most stall spaces – check out our Instagram for photos!Â
How many people can race per hour?
We typically do 3 lap sessions (approx. 5 minutes) per driver. Depending on session length, a single simulator can accommodate approximately 10 participants per hour. For high-traffic events, we recommend two or more simulators to keep queue times short, competition strong and engagement high.
Can I capture leads through the simulator?
Yes. How you would like to engage participants is entirely up to you! We can run a leaderboard competition and you can choose to require registration to participate (your team can take details on a clipboard or have people sign up via a QR code) – giving you a clean list of attendees who actively engaged with your brand.
Can the simulator be set up in a shell scheme stall?
Yes. We regularly set up in standard shell scheme configurations at trade shows and exhibitions across Australia. Let us know your stall size and we’ll confirm fit.
Do you provide an operator on the day?
Though adding a U Race It operator to your event is optional, most events do choose to include an operator. The operator manages the simulator, runs the leaderboard, and keeps the experience running smoothly throughout the event, allowing your team to engage with the crowd.
How far in advance should I book?
For major trade shows we recommend booking 4 weeks in advance. Popular dates fill quickly. And although earlier is always better, we know sometimes that is not possible and that plans change – we can usually accommodate events at short notice – just enquire and we’ll get back to you!Â
Do you travel interstate?
Yes. While we’re based in Melbourne, we regularly service events in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, and sometimes Tasmania. Get in touch with your event location and we’ll confirm availability and logistics.
